Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker before turning to the dark side, a goodhearted Jedi and hero of the Clone Wars. He was believed by some to be the prophesied Chosen One who would bring balance to the Force. As members of the Storm trooper Corps, an independent branch that operated under the Imperial Army, they served as front line assault forces and formed the backbone of the Imperial Military. Bounty hunters were individuals who could be hired to capture or kill a designated target.
